ELEGY RECORDS ACQUIRED & RELAUNCHED — MARCH 2026

Elegy Records has returned.  

In 2018/2019, founder Rob D. was compelled to close the label after sustained attacks on his payment processors and banking institutions, solely for refusing to submit to the extreme political correctness that dominated the era. Elegy was never a political label, nor an “NS” label. It existed as a platform for raw, honest, and uncompromising extremist art in black metal — art that demanded strength and authenticity above all.That standard remains absolute.We have signed two new artists:

Aedelgard — a Russian/American two-man black metal mystery cult.

Kazikli — an American one-man project from Austin, Texas, channeling the spirit of 1980s proto-black/death metal through 1990s Nordic intensity, distinguished by exceptional guitar craftsmanship rarely encountered in the genre.

The relaunch begins with strictly limited CD reissues (100–200 copies each) of four cornerstone releases:

• Judas Iscariot – Of Great Eternity (ER03)
• Thor’s Hammer – Three Weeds From the Same Root (ER16)
• Weltmacht – The Call to Battle with bonus 1999 demo (ER06)
• Judas Iscariot – An Ancient Starry Sky (ER62)
