ER63 - 2026 We are proud to present the first new signing & release since the 2026 relaunch of Elegy Records! From Texas Hellfire emerges the debut LP from Kazikli, "The Infliction of Humankind".

Kazikli (pronounced ka-zee-klee-eye) emerged from the abyss in 2024 with this recording - released technically as an LP-length demo cassette & CDr, both totally DIY releases put out by the band and passed out to friends and contacts throughout the underground. The band also released it via Bandcamp.

An associate of Elegy met sole member - (who goes by Kazikli as his artist pseudonym, as well as band name) in the summer of 2023 as this demo was being written and recorded. The two stayed in touch, working together on an unrelated project and Kazikli surprised our friend one day with a box of demo tapes and some CDrs. One of those made it into the hands of new Elegy manager (Gustavo P.) in 2025 and after becoming obsessed with both the recording and the highly disturbing album art, it became clear that this would be one of the first bands to get an offer from the label at relaunch.

"Infliction of Humankind" is harrowing, claustrophobic black metal that has something extra to it that makes the record really stand out, and that detail is insanely proficient writing & guitar playing, with lots of solos. This black metal for METAL fans.

Elegy Records is proud to be handling the album (and will be doing their next recording and hopefully more beyond even that) and will have the record out digitally and on digipak CD in May/June, 2026. Stream here until release date is annoucned!
